Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute APAC GTM (Go-to-Market) strategy including market segmentation, pricing, positioning, competitive analysis
  • Build and nurture pipeline of new enterprise clients; identify opportunities for upsell/cross-sell in existing accounts
  • Negotiate large deals, manage complex sales cycles, manage key client relationships, including at C-level
  • Manage forecasting, target setting, reporting of sales performance; ensure metrics like deal conversion, average deal size, sales cycle times, margin are tracked and optimized
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team across APAC (hiring, training, coaching, performance management)
  • Collaborate with delivery, solutions, pre-sales, marketing to enable proposals, ensure that solution offerings are well aligned to market needs and are deliverable
  • Represent Altimetrik at external forums: industry events, thought leadership, networking, etc
  • Monitor local regulations, procurement processes, competitive landscape, local business practices in different APAC countries; adapt sales approach accordingly
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, manage escalations, maintain long-term relationships

Required / Desired Experience & Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in IT / software services / product engineering / consulting
  • Several years of leadership / managing sales teams with regional or multi-country scope.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, including enterprise / large account sales
  • Ability to work with both business and technical buyers; understanding of emerging technology trends (e.g. AI/ML, cloud, digital transformation)
  • Experience in APAC markets: understanding differences in sales cycles, cultures, regulation, contracts, procurement
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management (internal & external)
  • Strategic thinking, analytic mindset, ability to plan long term while executing short term
