Job Description

Position Overview:


This role supports the daily operations of the sales department in the travel industry. It involves interacting with customers, preparing and sending quotations, following up on inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between sales and operations. Additionally, the role includes updating the CRM system and ensuring timely payment collection.


Key Responsibilities:


• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers via phone, email, or in-person to understand their travel needs and offer suitable services.

• Quotations: Prepare accurate and customized travel quotations, ensuring all details are correct.

• Sending Quotations: Send quotations to customers with necessary information, including pricing, terms, and travel details.

• Follow-Up: Follow up with customers to confirm receipt of quotations, address concerns, and convert leads into confirmed bookings.

• Additional Customer Information: Assist with special requests and coordinate with operations for any extra requirements.

• CRM Updates: Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM system.

• Payment Follow-Up: Ensure timely payment collection from customers and assist with any payment-related queries.

• Payment Coordination: Work with the accounts team to ensure accurate payment records and address overdue payments.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (Preferred).

• Experience: 2+ years in sales and operations in the travel industry.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in quotations, payment tracking, and CRM updates.

• Negotiation & Problem-Solving: Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve customer concerns promptly.
