Role & responsibilities Retain existing accounts and develop new accounts in assigned market segment for carpet business Keep an eye on market trends and report to management regularly Conduct market research and analysis Identify and effectively pursue relevant business opportunities Meet or exceed sales targets with excellent customer services & market insights Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management Demonstrate professional know-how and market sense Establish long-term partnerships with potential industry stakeholders, partners and clients Preferred candidate profile Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in related field preferred: - hospitality carpet experience (selling wall to wall carpets, hand tufted rugs etc. ) or - other carpet (i.e. carpet tiles) experience, and/or hard flooring (SPC) experience or - hospitality interior product experience (e.g. fabric, furniture, wall covering ... etc.), or - good experience / connection with hospitality international interior design firms or - good experience / connection with hotel end users Strong communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English Possess strong sales technique and sound financial sense Positive, energetic and outgoing, possess a strong can-do attitude and able to work independently Eager to gain expert knowledge of the product, the market and customers Excellent team player and relationship builder with clients Good people management and development skills
