Position: Outbound Sales Executive ( Opener / Closer)

Position Overview
The Outbound Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business opportunities through structured outbound sales activities using the ELD framework (Engage – Listen – Deliver). The role focuses on identifying potential customers, initiating outreach, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that align with organizational offerings. The candidate must be proactive, persuasive, and skilled at building high-quality sales pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engage – Initial Prospect Outreach
Conduct outbound lead-generation activities including cold calling, cold emailing, and social media (LinkedIn) outreach.
Craft personalized messages based on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Leverage intent data, market research, and trigger events (e.g., job changes, funding updates) to identify high-potential leads.
Execute multichannel outreach strategies to improve engagement.
Create value-driven first impressions to initiate meaningful conversations.
2. Listen – Discovery & Qualification
Hold consultative conversations with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and business challenges.
Ask open-ended, probing questions to uncover relevant insights.
Qualify leads using industry-standard frameworks such as BANT, CHAMP, or MEDDIC.
Practice active listening to build rapport and trust.
Update and maintain CRM records with accurate notes, insights, and follow-up tasks.
3. Deliver – Solution Presentation & Conversion
Present product/service benefits clearly based on the prospect’s specific requirements.
Share case studies, demos, solution walkthroughs, or ROI analyses to demonstrate value.
Handle objections with confidence, empathy, and data-backed responses.
Propose tailored solutions and set clear next steps toward closure.
Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, or senior leadership for complex opportunities.
Performance Optimization & Reporting
Track key outbound KPIs such as call volume, open rates, response rates, and conversion rates.
Continuously A/B test scripts, messaging, and outreach cadences to improve effectiveness.
Use CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, etc.) to manage pipelines efficiently.
Participate in regular training sessions and provide feedback for process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or lead generation (B2B preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct structured discovery conversations.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with consultative selling or solution-based selling frameworks.
Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Challenger Sale, or similar.
Comfort working in fast-paced, high-volume outbound environments.
