Job Description – Senior Inside Sales Engineer

The Senior Inside Sales Engineer will support external sales functions, manage technical and commercial documentation, and maintain strong customer relationships to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Management:

    Respond to RFPs and RFQs by preparing accurate technical and commercial quotations and tender documentation.
  • Client Support:

    Address technical and commercial queries from existing and potential customers.
  • Technical Support:

    Assist sales and service teams by delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and expert advice.
  • Sales Coordination:

    Work with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Logistics Coordination:

    Provide procurement and logistics teams with timely updates for inventory planning and dispatch scheduling.
  • Order Processing:

    Issue dispatch clearance and invoicing details to logistics and finance departments in the required formats.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain relationships with clients by understanding their technical needs and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Product Knowledge:

    Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, particularly Siemens and Honeywell offerings.
  • Market Research:

    Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Coordinate with sales, service, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting:

    Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and analytical data for management review.
