The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically sound Sales Engineer to drive our growth in the Ahmedabad region and beyond. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving customer problems, possesses a strong understanding of electrical products, and is driven to build long-term, trusted relationships. You will be the crucial link between our advanced product portfolio and our customers' technical needs.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on target segments (Panel Builders, Construction Machine OEMs, Industrial Plants, Consultants).
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and present compelling technical and commercial offers, ensuring quick turnaround.
  • Negotiate contracts and close orders, managing the entire sales cycle.

Technical Support & Customer Engagement:

  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our offerings (e.g., Switchgear, Busbar Trunking, Wires & Cables, Energy Meters).
  • Understand client requirements in depth and provide technically accurate solutions, often in consultation with our in-house engineering team.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential client accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new potential applications for our products.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market needs and customer insights.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Qualification:

     Diploma in Electrical Engineering or BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in industrial sales, preferably selling electrical components (Switchgear, Wires, Cables, Panels) or engineering services.
  • Experience dealing with Panel Builders, OEMs, or EPC companies will be a significant advantage.
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Acumen:

     Strong understanding of electrical products, control systems, and/or industrial automation.
  • Sales Drive:

     A hunter mentality with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Communication:

     Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving:

     Ability to understand technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Customer-Centric:

     A strong desire to build relationships and ensure customer success.
