Job Overview:

We are looking for a result-oriented Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and strengthen our market presence within the assigned territory. The role involves direct customer interaction, dealer management, and OEM coordination, along with providing strong technical and commercial support to achieve revenue targets.

The Sales Engineer will work closely with dealers, customers, OEM workshops, and internal teams to ensure sustained business growth and excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute territory sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Increase market penetration through effective dealer and customer engagement.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop new customer accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing dynamics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with authorized dealers and key customers.
  • Drive dealer performance through regular reviews, training, and support.
  • Coordinate with OEM workshops for lead generation and enquiry management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on technical and commercial matters.
  • Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and application guidance.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to close profitable deals.
  • Gather and share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Product, Service, and Head Office) for planning and execution.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, orders, and customer commitments.
  • Support service and installation teams to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering / Marketing / Business Administration
  • 15 years of experience in industrial, automotive, or manufacturing sales
  • Experience handling dealers, direct customers, or OEM workshops is an added advantage

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering, or Marketing / Business Administration.
  • 1–5 years of experience in B2B sales within the industrial / automotive / manufacturing sector.
  • Hands-on experience in dealer management and direct customer interaction.
  • Exposure to OEM workshops, industrial customers, or project-based sales is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial products and applications.
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations, application discussions, and technical presentations.
  • Proven capability to achieve sales targets and drive market growth within assigned territory.
  • Good commercial acumen with experience in pricing, negotiation, and order closure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Proficient in MS Office / CRM systems.
