Role Overview:​

 

As Sales Director, you will lead our US growth story—sourcing, developing, and closing large research deals 

with a measurable focus on clients in the CPG, Luxury Retail, FMCG, BFSI, HNI, Consumer Insights, and ITES 

sectors. You’ll operate on a commission-based structure directly tied to sales target achievement, and play a 

key role in shaping and building a future high-performing US sales team. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

∙ Develop, manage, and close large-scale research sales opportunities—especially in CPG, Luxury 

Retail, FMCG, BFSI, High Net Worth Individuals (HNI), Consumer Insights, and ITES domains. 

∙ Drive end-to-end sales process: lead generation, pipeline management, client presentations, 

proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing. 

∙ Cultivate and leverage relationships with decision-makers in corporates, market research buyers, 

consultancies, and agencies across your sectors. 

∙ Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, working independently with full accountability 

for results. 

∙ Collaborate with leadership to lay the groundwork for building a US-based frontline sales team 

contributing to recruitment, onboarding, and future team management as business grows. 

∙ Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to enhance service offerings, positioning, and 

go-to-market strategy. 

∙ Act as a senior industry ambassador, representing the company at top industry events, panels, and 

client forums relevant to listed sectors. 


Required Qualifications:

 

∙ 8+ years’ proven track record in market research sales (B2B)—preferably with experience in 

quantitative studies, online panels, qualitative research services and with direct experience in at 

least three of the following sectors: CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), Luxury Retail, FMCG, BFSI 

(Banking, Financial Services & Insurance), HNI (High Net Worth Individuals), Consumer Insights, or 

ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) 

∙ Demonstrated track record of closing large, complex deals for quantitative and qualitative research, 

online panel, or syndicated multi-market studies. 

∙ Strong existing relationships with US corporates, agencies, consultancies, or other high-value 

buyers of market research. 

∙ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at senior/executive levels. 

∙ Entrepreneurial drive, high level of self-motivation, and experience delivering results in a 

commission-based sales role. 

∙ Familiarity with both online and offline research methodologies. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

∙ Experience building or leading B2B sales teams is a strong plus. 

∙ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, or related field. 

∙ Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales platforms.
