Original Manas Resort, established in 1991, offers 70 luxurious rooms, 3 conference halls, and wedding venues. The resort features an in-house spa, wellness programs, and is spread over 30,000 sq. meters with landscaped gardens amidst a valley and mountains. We have a petting zoo and a 15,000 sq. ft. off-leash park for pets, ensuring a pet-friendly environment for our guests.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Director, located in Mumbai for Manas Group. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the sales team, managing sales operations, and developing business strategies to increase revenue. Daily tasks include overseeing customer service, setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and identifying new business opportunities. The Sales Director will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and meet business goals.


1. Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and manage the resort’s sales strategy to achieve budgeted revenue targets.
  • Identify high-growth segments (corporate, travel trade, MICE, leisure, weddings) and create tailored sales plans for each.
  • Forecast demand and set competitive pricing strategies in coordination with the revenue team.

2. Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed individual and collective targets.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline management, and performance evaluations.
  • Identify training needs and ensure continuous professional development.

3. Revenue Growth & Client Acquisition

  • Drive acquisition of new business accounts and expansion of existing ones.
  • Oversee key negotiations, long-term contracts, and high-value deals.
  • Foster relationships with top corporate clients, event planners, and travel partners.

4. Collaboration with Marketing & Operations

  • Work closely with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Align with the operations team to ensure the product offering matches client expectations.
  • Actively participate in brand-building activities and trade shows.

5. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor performance, pricing, and marketing tactics.
  • Adapt strategies based on changing market conditions and consumer trends.

6. Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, contracts, and legal requirements.
