Job Description

This role is focused exclusively on building and scaling referral-led opportunities with

banks and driving product and solution sales directly to banks. The incumbent will

partner with bank stakeholders to co-create solutions, identify revenue opportunities,

and enable joint go-to-market initiatives to enhance Cashfree’s presence in the banking

ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities.


1. Banking Referral Engagement

Build and manage strategic relationships exclusively with banks to generate

referral-led business opportunities.

Establish structured referral programs and pipelines with bank relationship

managers, product teams, and relevant stakeholders.

Serve as the primary point of contact for banks on all referral-led opportunities

and engagements.

2. Product & Solution Sales to Banks

Understand and position Cashfree’s offerings — payouts, payment gateway, API

banking, collections, UPI solutions, cross-border payments, and other fintech

products — directly to banks.

Identify, structure, and close sales opportunities with banks for Cashfree

products and solutions.

Lead solution design, commercial negotiation, and contract management for

bank engagements.

3. Go-to-Market & Revenue Ownership

Own revenue targets and pipeline exclusively from bank channels.

Collaborate with marketing, product, and compliance teams to create joint GTM

strategies with banks.

Enable bank sales teams with necessary product training and support for referral

and direct sales.

4. Stakeholder Management & Relationship Building

Engage with CXOs, product heads, transaction banking teams, and

relationship managers within partner banks.

Ensure sustained engagement and deal closure, nurturing long-term bank

relationships.

5. Market Intelligence & Product Feedback

Track banking industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings.

Provide feedback to product teams to enhance Cashfree’s solutions for banking

clients.


Preferred Background-

1.Prior experience in banks (transaction banking, corporate banking, or digital

banking teams) or fintechs selling products/solutions to banks.

2.Proven track record of bank referral or direct sales revenue generation.
