Job Description

About the Role  As a Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers interested in installing solar energy systems. Your role involves educating clients about solar benefits and government subsidies, generating leads, preparing proposals, and guiding customers through the purchase and installation process. You'll also coordinate with the technical team, assist with subsidy documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction from inquiry to post-installation. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Client Outreach Identify and contact potential customers interested in solar panel installations. Use digital tools (WhatsApp, Instagram, calls) and local field visits to generate leads. Follow up with inquiries from the website or social media. Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and available government subsidies. Assess site feasibility (roof space, orientation) and gather usage data (electricity billanalysis). Explain ROI, cost-saving projections, and technical aspects in simple terms Prepare customized proposals based on the customer’s energy needs. Share cost breakdowns including panel cost, installation, subsidy benefits, and financing options (EMI plans, loans). Subsidy & Documentation Support Collect necessary documentation (ID proof, property ownership, utility bill, etc.). Coordinate with the back-office team for subsidy processing. Act as a bridge between customer and technical team for scheduling site visits and installation. Ensure smooth execution and timely updates. Follow up post-installation for customer feedback. Assist with warranty claims or service issues if required. Maintain records of leads, conversions, and daily/weekly performance. Report to sales manager or company head with insights and challenges. Stay updated on competitors, subsidy scheme changes, and new solar technologies. Share insights to improve company offerings or strategy.  Key Skills Relationship building and networking. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: ₹2,40,000 – ₹3,60,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) Incentives: Performance-based commission. Daily allowance for field visits. Travel allowance. Other Perks: Health insurance, mobile/data reimbursement, training programs.
