Business Development & Supplier Partnerships
- Explore markets and generate leads through cold calling and networking.
- Lead global contract negotiations covering rates, special offers, allocations, release periods, overrides, and terms & conditions for attraction tickets.
- Manage the re-contracting process for existing agreements.
- Oversee the development and launch of new product offerings.
- Manage content uploads, including product details, terms & conditions, and order fulfilment processes.
- Prepare and deliver internal presentations and communications to keep teams informed on product development matters.
- Conduct competitive product analysis to ensure the company maintains the best market conditions.
- Analyse weekly product/sales reports to identify market trends and growth opportunities.
- Evaluate opportunities to expand into new destinations and develop new products.
- Generate additional revenue through incentive-based supplier contracts.
Travel Agent Sales & Distribution
- Explore markets through cold calling, research, and market segmentation; develop and execute sales campaigns; and engage with industry stakeholders.
- Promote travel products via the Tixhubs system to travel agents worldwide.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in travel agencies to coordinate sales efforts.
- Collaborate on strategic planning with internal teams to set departmental goals, create sales materials, and develop branding and promotional strategies to increase sales.
- Initiate contact with prospective travel agents to generate sales opportunities.
- Ensure sales efforts progress effectively and meet established goals and targets.
- Conduct personal marketing and promotional visits to potential clients, including presentations for group bids.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience; senior roles will be considered based on experience.
- Strong passion for tourism sales with a focus on career and industry growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple assignments, and handle projects of varying complexity.
- Proven skills in sales, customer relations, communication, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative.
- Tourism industry experience is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
