1. Job Purpose

Overview:

The Sales Executive / Manager (East) will lead the sales efforts in West Bengal, Bihar , Jharkhand, Odisha & North East (Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur) & Nagaland ) focusing on driving business growth for Aquarius’s product portfolio, including boom pumps, line pumps, and batching plants. The role involves developing a high-performing sales team, building a robust dealer network, and expanding the market footprint in these regions.

2. Key Responsibilities

 Market Expansion & Dealer Network Development:

Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets in Eastern India focusing on concreting equipment.

Identify, recruit, and manage dealers to create a strong sales network across key states and cities

Conduct dealer training programs to enhance product knowledge and ensure alignment with company sales strategies.

 Customer Relationship Management & Sales Execution:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors to drive business growth.

Lead negotiations for major contracts with corporate clients and government bodies in Eastern India.

Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations, ensuring resolution in coordination with technical and service teams.

 Sales Strategy & Performance:

Develop region-specific sales strategies and objectives that are in line with the company’s overall goals.

Track, analyse, and report on sales performance for the region, providing insights and recommendations to the Head of Sales.

Ensure timely submission of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.

 Cross-functional Coordination:

Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and service teams to ensure the sales strategy is aligned with market demand and product features.

Work with the logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain management.

 Compliance & Market Intelligence:

Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies, as well as local and international regulations.

Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the Eastern India and Bangladesh markets to adjust strategies as necessary.

3. Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus

Experience:

 Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the construction equipment or heavy machinery industry.

Certifications/Licenses:

Special Skills:

Fluency in English and Bengali; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.

Technical Competencies:

 Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to develop and manage a high-performing sales team.

 Proven track record of establishing and managing dealer networks in construction equipment or related industries.

 In-depth understanding of sales cycles, negotiations, and business development in Eastern India.

 Strong understanding of line pumps, boom pumps and batching plants.

 Proficiency in CRM.

 Ability to interpret technical nuances of the products.

5. Working Conditions

Work Environment: Mix of travel and office.

6. CTC 8 - 10 LPA

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
