Job Description

As a Sales & Business Development Manager at our company, you will be based in Worli, Mumbai and will be responsible for targeting Hi-end architects and interior designers as our potential clientele. With a minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience in the luxury interior industry, you will play a crucial role in presenting our brand to customers and driving business growth through impeccable service delivery. Our company, Hands, has been specializing in fine handcrafted carpets since 1881, with a rich legacy of expertise in carpet and rug making near Varanasi. Our carpets adorn some of the most prestigious palaces, luxury hotels, and residences worldwide, with a presence in major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Dubai, and Singapore. In this role, you will be expected to work across multiple independent accounts throughout Maharashtra, meeting and exceeding revenue objectives by achieving seasonal sales targets and business goals. You will be required to develop strong relationships with architects and interior designers, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills to bring in new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Representing Hands effectively as a Sales & Business Development Manager - Developing and maintaining excellent product knowledge and customer service standards - Establishing strong relationships with architects and interior designers to drive business growth - Staying updated on current products, trends, and collections to inform customers adequately - Meeting and surpassing seasonal sales targets - Understanding assigned accounts thoroughly and educating internally on business processes and consumer dynamics - Maintaining strong relationships with accounts through networking events and client meetings Further, you will collaborate with the Marketing team to develop strategies that support sales growth and expansion within your accounts. Your role will require strong negotiation, social, and influencing skills, along with a goal-oriented mindset that translates targets into actionable plans. Requirements Of The Role: - Relevant sales experience in the luxury interior industry - Strong networking and relationship-building abilities - Goal-oriented with a persistent drive to exceed targets - Excellent negotiation, social, and influencing skills - Strong organizational and leadership capabilities - Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in English with excellent verbal communication skills - Confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra for client meetings and business development activities - Possession of a personal database of architects and interior designers would be advantageous If you are a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for sales and business development in the luxury interior industry, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the continued success of Hands Carpets.,
