Sales and Business Development Manager

As a Sales & Business Development Manager at Hands, fine handcrafted carpets, your role involves presenting the brand to potential customers, architects, and interior designers in Mumbai. Your primary responsibility is to bring in business for the brand by providing flawless service and meeting or exceeding revenue objectives through set seasonal sales targets and business goals. You will work across multiple independent accounts targeting the entire Maharashtra region. **Key Responsibilities:** - Represent Hands effectively as a Sales & Business Development Manager - Develop and maintain good product knowledge to provide excellent customer service - Build strong relationships with architects and interior designers to bring in business - Stay updated on current products, trends, and collections to inform and educate customers - Meet and exceed seasonal sales targets - Understand assigned accounts and consumer dynamics to drive growth - Establish and maintain strong relationships with accounts, including organizing meetings and events - Analyze customer sell-through to identify strengths and areas for improvement - Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop strategies supporting growth in accounts **Requirements Of The Role:** - Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience in the luxury interior industry - Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships - Goal-oriented with excellent negotiation and influencing skills - Strong organizational and leadership skills - Self-starter who can work independently and in teams - Excellent verbal communication in English - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Willingness to travel across Maharashtra to arrange meetings and bring in business - Personal database of architects and interior designers is a plus Join Hands, a brand with over a century of expertise in carpet and rug making, and be part of a team that caters to some of the finest palaces, luxury hotels, and residences worldwide.,
