RPA Developer

Work Location: 1050 Wilshire Drive, Suite 307, Troy, MI 48084. Position may telecommute / work remotely up to 2 days/week.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software solutions.
  • Design and implement automation solutions across multiple business processes.
  • Perform requirement gathering, process identification, and feasibility analysis of RPA development.
  • Analyze business processes to review and identify the scope and potential of automation.
  • Consult with users to gather requirements, determine expected functionality, and streamline processes based on their adaptability for automation.
  • Design and build proof of concepts (POC) to demonstrate benefits and value-realization.
  • Build automated solutions for business processes.
  • Design and develop prototypes to provide high-level functionality of the processes to be automated.
  • Demonstrate the automated process to users to showcase automation benefits and efficiency.
  • Review code for validation and QA to ensure functionality is captured and all scenarios are handled error-free.
  • Create Process Design Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs) as per product guidelines to illustrate detailed sequence of steps the program must follow.
  • Analyze the existing manual process with users and subject-matter experts (SMEs) to prepare detailed documentation of PDD.
  • Based on the PDD, work with development team to create SDD to code and document changes in the current process.
  • Create and document test procedures and scenarios for unit testing and UAT (user acceptance testing) phases.
  • Work with users and support team to prepare test data. Execute and implement test scenarios for automated process.
  • Migrate code to test and production environments.
  • Create code migration documents.
  • Perform smoke test after code migration to validate status.
  • Configure and develop ABBYY to work along-side Blue Prism.
  • Develop custom rules and templates to extract data and build logic based on business rules.
  • Attend standup calls to share the status of ongoing development and activities per Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Provide initial post live support to operations / support team and conduct knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Communicate with Blue Prism support team on software issues faced during development or production.
  • Use of Blue Prism, UiPath, Power Automate, ABBYY FlexiCapture, SOAP & REST APIs, C#, Java, Python, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.

Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Blue Prism Certified Developer certification required.

40hrs/week.
