Restaurant Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and manage staff effectively. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of F&B service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Manage and supervise the restaurant team, including captains, stewards, and service staff.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and handle guest queries or complaints professionally.
  • Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and ambiance of the restaurant.
  • Manage table reservations, seating, and guest flow during busy hours.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely and efficient service.
  • Train and motivate staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Monitor stock levels for service items (crockery, cutlery, linen, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and F&B policies.
  • Handle billing, cash management, and daily reporting.
  • Assist in menu planning, promotions, and upselling strategies to increase revenue.
  • Analyze customer feedback and implement improvements.
  • Ensure discipline, grooming, and punctuality of all service staff.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in restaurant or F&B service management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer handling, and problem-solving ability.
  • Good knowledge of F&B service operations, menu items, and service etiquette.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage peak hours efficiently.
  • Familiarity with POS billing systems and restaurant software.

Preferred Background:

  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or F&B Service.
  • Previous experience in premium hospitality establishments.
