Client Relationship Manager Intern (Primary Title)

About The Opportunity

A fast-growing player in the D2C Apparel & Fashion e‑commerce sector, focused on online retail and customer-first brand experiences across India. We sell lifestyle clothing and accessories and prioritise high-touch after-sales service, repeat-purchase growth, and social commerce engagement. This is a remote internship based in India supporting customer and account lifecycle activities.Role & Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers—handle inbound queries and perform proactive outreach to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales lifecycle: process orders, confirm shipments, manage returns/exchanges, and follow up on resolutions.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM; log interactions, track open issues, and ensure timely closure.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, and Product teams to escalate and resolve complex customer problems.
  • Prepare concise customer and performance reports (weekly/monthly) highlighting churn risk, NPS feedback, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Contribute to knowledge-base articles, canned responses, and workflow improvements to increase team efficiency and CSAT.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree; open to students in Commerce, Business, Communications, or similar fields.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; clear phone etiquette and professional messaging on chat/social platforms.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for data entry and simple reporting; comfortable with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Google Drive).
  • Familiarity with CRM concepts or prior exposure to tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Freshdesk — or strong willingness to learn quickly.

Preferred

  • Prior internship or customer-facing experience in e-commerce, retail, or fashion brands; exposure to social commerce (Instagram/WhatsApp) is a plus.
  • Customer-centric attitude, basic sales orientation, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
