Role Summary:
The Relationship Manager – Platinum Business Banking will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value business clients. The role involves developing strong relationships, offering customized banking solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through cross-selling and new business acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire, nurture, and manage relationships with high-value business customers under the Platinum segment.
Identify and understand clients’ financial needs to provide customized solutions across liabilities, assets, trade, insurance, and investment products.
Ensure portfolio growth through client retention, upselling, and cross-selling of AU Bank’s products.
Deliver superior customer service and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (credit, operations, product teams) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor client accounts, ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
Drive revenue targets by generating business across CASA, trade finance, lending, and insurance.
Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and client industry dynamics.
Key Deliverables (KRA):
Achievement of business targets (CASA, assets, trade, cross-sell).
Growth in portfolio value and profitability.
High client engagement and satisfaction scores.
Zero tolerance on compliance and risk parameters.
Acquisition of new-to-bank (NTB) business clients in the Platinum segment.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of business banking products & services (CASA, OD/CC, Term Loans, Trade, Treasury, Insurance, Investments).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Strong negotiation and client handling skills.
Ability to analyze financial statements and assess business requirements.
Customer-first mindset with problem-solving ability.
Result-oriented and self-motivated with strong execution skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/MBA or equivalent degree in Finance/Commerce/Business.
3–7 years of experience in business banking/SME banking/relationship management with exposure to high-value clients.
Proven track record of managing and growing a business client portfolio.
Knowledge of local market and network of business contacts will be an added advantage.
