Job Title : Regional Sales Manager

Job Location : Hyderabad

Role & responsibilities

• Drive overall sales performance in the assigned region through a team of Area Business Managers (ABMs) and Business Executives (BEs).
• Achieve regional primary and secondary sales targets and ensure profitability.
• Develop and implement region-specific business strategies aligned with company goals.
• Recruit, train, and retain high-performing sales teams.
• Conduct regular field visits and joint working with ABMs to drive field effectiveness.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and execute promotional strategies, CMEs, and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement.
• Ensure DCR compliance, accurate sales reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor team performance, conduct reviews, and implement performance improvement plans. Ensure optimal utilization of resources and ROI-focused operations

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in Science / Pharmacy; MBA in Marketing preferred
• 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in pharma sales with at least 2 3 years in a regional leadership role
• Proven track record of delivering business growth and leading large field teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of the regional market, customer network, and competitive landscape
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region
