Purpose of the Role

To drive regional sales growth by building strategic capabilities, strengthening sales effectiveness, and enabling teams to achieve business targets while identifying and leveraging market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Growth & Strategy

  • Develop Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) and regional growth strategies.
  • Build systems and processes to strengthen sales execution.
  • Develop people, resources, and sales competencies to support business expansion.

2. Business Leadership & Coaching

  • Guide and coach Area Business Heads to develop unit-specific strategies.
  • Partner with central teams to define KPIs and AOPs for area units.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support accelerated organizational growth.

3. Business Analysis & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct regular business analysis and identify performance trends.
  • Recommend initiatives for business improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Assess micro-markets to identify new growth opportunities and expansion areas.

4. Sales Enablement & Capability Building

  • Identify capability gaps and enable field sales teams through targeted training.
  • Improve sales team productivity and readiness through structured interventions.

Qualification & Experience

Education:

  • B.Tech + MBA (preferred)

Experience:

  • 10–12 years in Sales Excellence / Sales Operations
  • Industries: Consulting, Education, Telecom, FMCG

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Stakeholder management experience with senior leaders
