Job Purpose

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end operations of all branches across the North Kerala region. The role ensures operational efficiency, service quality, cost control, and business growth by overseeing branch operations, warehouse management, fleet management, team performance, and customer satisfaction. The position acts as a vital link between Branch Managers and the Operations Head.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Regional Operations Oversight

  • Oversee daily operations of all branches in the North Kerala region.
  • Ensure timely pickup, transit, delivery, and POD completion.
  • Implement and enforce company SOPs, policies, and operational standards.
  • Monitor daily operational dashboards and resolve escalations.

2. Branch Management & Control

  • Supervise, guide, and evaluate Branch Managers.
  • Conduct regular branch audits and performance reviews.
  • Ensure consistency in operations, documentation, and reporting.
  • Support branches in achieving operational and financial targets.

3. Warehouse Management

  • Ensure smooth warehouse operations including unloading, sorting, storage, and dispatch.
  • Monitor space utilization, material handling, and safety standards.
  • Minimize damages, losses, and delays through process improvement.
  • Ensure proper control of pending deliveries and POD flow.

4. Fleet & Route Management

  • Oversee vehicle utilization, route planning, and fleet productivity.
  • Monitor fuel efficiency, maintenance schedules, and vehicle downtime.
  • Ensure statutory compliance of vehicles and drivers.
  • Handle emergency situations such as breakdowns and route disruptions.

5. Team Management

  • Ensure adequate manpower planning across branches.
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Address attrition, absenteeism, and discipline issues proactively.
  • Build a high-performance, accountable operations team.

6. Business Development & Customer Relations

  • Support Branch Managers in customer retention and new business acquisition.
  • Participate in key customer meetings and resolve service issues.
  • Identify regional growth opportunities and expansion potential.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

7. Reporting & Coordination

  • Consolidate regional reports and present insights to the Operations Head.
  • Track KPIs, costs, and operational trends.
  • Coordinate with Head Office for system updates, policies, and initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Regional operations: 3 years (Required)
  • Parcel/logistics industry: 2 years (Required)

Location:

  • Aluva, Kerala (Ernakulam District) (Required)
