Job Description: Recruiter – Compass Group India

Location: Kolkata & East Region
Salary: CTC up to ₹6 Lakhs
Experience: 5–6 Years

About the Role

Compass Group India is looking for an experienced and dynamic Recruiter to manage end-to-end hiring for the Kolkata and East Region operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proven recruiting capabilities, and extensive experience in bulk hiring of blue-collar workforce for industries such as facility management, food services, housekeeping, and related domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for various roles across the East Region, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Lead bulk hiring drives for blue-collar positions such as housekeeping staff, General Duty Assistant (GDA), support staff, Technical Staff etc.
• Develop effective sourcing strategies through job portals, local networks, referrals, and vendor partners.
• Maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet ongoing operational hiring needs.
• Coordinate with regional managers and department heads to understand manpower requirements.
• Conduct interviews, organize recruitment camps, and manage walk-in drives.
• Ensure timely closure of open positions while maintaining quality of hires.
• Maintain recruitment MIS, dashboards, and weekly hiring reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hiring standards, and statutory norms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate with 5–6 years of relevant recruitment experience, preferably in facility management, hospitality, or service industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing high-volume / bulk hiring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking abilities with local manpower sources, agencies, and community networks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Good MS Office and recruitment portal (Naukri, Indeed, etc.) knowledge.
