About RAD Global

Quality Supervisor – Textile Division




Key Responsibilities


  • Supervise day-to-day quality operations in the

    extrusion, Raschel knitting, heat stabilization, and fabrication

    departments.
  • Implement and enforce

    Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    across all textile production lines.
  • Conduct

    in-process and final inspections

    to ensure compliance with technical specifications (GSM, tensile strength, shade factor, UV stability, flame retardancy, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain

    inspection records, defect logs, and quality reports

    for management review.
  • Monitor

    raw material quality

    (HDPE, additives, masterbatches) and ensure supplier compliance.
  • Ensure

    traceability

    of each batch from extrusion to finished goods.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues using tools like

    5 Whys, Pareto, and Fishbone analysis

    and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and guide operators and line supervisors on quality requirements and best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits) and prepare required documentation.
  • Work closely with the Production, R&D, and Fabrication teams to

    reduce rejections, rework, and customer complaints.




Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma

    in Textile Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum

    5 years’ hands-on experience in a textile manufacturing factory

    , preferably in

    warp knitting / extrusion-based technical textiles

    .
  • Strong knowledge of textile testing standards (tensile strength, GSM, UV stability, FR testing such as NFPA 701, etc.).
  • Proven track record of

    implementing quality systems

    in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with

    ISO 9001 / Six Sigma / Lean principles

    will be an advantage.
  • Good communication, documentation, and leadership skills.




Key Skills Required


  • Strong technical knowledge of

    HDPE textile processes

    (extrusion, knitting, finishing).
  • Ability to detect and resolve quality issues quickly.
  • Excellent reporting, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership ability to enforce quality culture across the shop floor.
  • Hands-on experience with textile lab testing equipment.
