Responsibilities

  • Implementing quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products.
  • Leading the development and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures to achieve quality targets.
  • Addressing trends with internal and external non-conformance.
  • Managing multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists and inspectors to assure that quality standards are met.
  • Reviewing reports and confers with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues.

Quality Specific Desirable skills
  • Analyse Quality issues related to BIQ(Built in Quality) / Customer issues and take corrective actions
  • Sound knowledge assembly quality process, Quality problem solving tools, measuring instruments.
  • Support Shift operations, address day-to-day process quality issues and develop solutions with CFT.
  • Prepare and Maintain assembly value stream Quality documents like SWS/SWES/SFMEA/check sheets etc.
  • Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO45001:2018 is desirable.
  • Knowledge in MMD calibration process.
  • Respond to addressing customer issues and lead process improvements.
  • Good team player & prompt execution of task.
  • Managing the team of Quality Inspectors, Junior Engineers to govern the Quality gates, IPV, Testing and PDI
  • Interacting with cross functional team members to determine root cause of quality issues and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Analyzing non-conformance data and maintaining quality system documentation.
  • Participating in and offering technical support to internal and external audits; following up response of corrective action from audit.
  • Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements.
Also Manage QMS / IMS documentation and support in audits and closure of Nonconformance if anyRelocation is available for this position.
