Quality Manager

• Hiring Quality Manager for a US MNC from process equipment industry
• Experience 8-15 yrs

• 5 days working

a. Ensure a robust incoming material inspection process & in process testing.

b. Prepare Quality assurance and inspection plans for parts for new product development.

c. Maintain Quality management system (ISO 9001:2015) & product regulatory audits.

d. Perform in-process & in coming inspection rejection analysis and collaborate with team / suppliers to accomplish appropriate actions. Use lean tools/ RCCM /FMEA/PDCA to achieve desired result.

e. Maintain records of customer complaints, resolve them quickly with team & perform RCCM to ensure that they don't occur again.

f. Manage a diverse team , develop their goals & KPIs, ensure timely review & feedback.

Manufacturing, Inspection & Testing Know how :

• Should have worked with componenents like casting, forging & sheet metal.
• Should have worked extensively in processes like welding, brazing, machining, assembly.
• Should have knowledge of GD & T, Inspection gauges & tools (preferably advanced tools like CMM, Ferro), calibration methods, Testing methods ( Destructive & Non Destructive).
• Should have knowledge of final product testing & calibration & preferably has worked in a process automated test set up.
• Should be hands on in developing & maintaining product tracability process 3.1.
• Should be hands on for quick trouble shooting. Auditing : Ability to conduct in process and system audits. Should be able to set a process to maintain documents for regulatory requirements & QMS audits. Supplier Assessment - Should be able to do identify critical suppliers & develop/maintain their regular audit process. For new development, responsible for helping the sourcing team to select the right suppliers by being involved in the initial supplier assessment process. Lean Fundamentals/FMEA/RCCM:
• Should be aware/working knowledge of lean tools, FMEA, RCCM.
