Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL
Build scalable data processing workflows for large and complex datasets
Work extensively with AWS services including Glue, S3, Lambda, EMR, Step Functions, RDS, Athena, and CloudWatch
Develop and optimize cloud-native data architectures following AWS best practices
Implement and manage data workflows using Apache Airflow
Work with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytical workloads
Perform data modeling, transformation, and performance optimization
Support data migration and data modernization initiatives
Use GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews
Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow engineering best practices
Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues proactively

Required Skills

48 years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Python, PySpark, and SQL
Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and Big Data technologies
Experience with AWS Glue and cloud-based data processing
Good understanding of data warehousing and analytics platforms

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Octopus, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Knowledge of DBT for data transformations
Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
Experience in cloud migration and data modernization projects

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
