Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Design, Production and Supply Chain teams to identify, prioritize and mitigate quality risks associated with the product and production processes; this includes both process design parameters (controlled variables) as well as noise factors (uncontrolled variables).
- Facilitate documentation of quality risks, mitigation activities and lessons learned (Corrective Action, Preventive Action, DFX) through the use of DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Creation of Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, Inspection Plans and Reaction Plans within the Moog production facility as well as at key suppliers in order to proactively manage the quality of the product.
- Facilitate the incorporation of Process Controls such as Mistake Proofing (Poke Yoke, etc.) and process monitoring techniques (Statistical Process Control) of Key Product Characteristics and Key Process Variables (KPIV and KPOV).
- Responsible for Corrective action analysis for internal & external non conformance and work with production and engineering team to resolve problems and come out with an effective corrective and preventive action.
- Act as local Management Representative for the business system to meet the requirements of ISO 9001.
- Preparation of Internal Audit plan and execution
- Preparation of MRM data, MRM minutes and presentation
- Maintenance of Quality Management System
- Certification and surveillance audit planning and execution
- Responsible for monitoring Continual Improvement in all processes and maintenance of records of the same.
- Review all customer complaints/customer returns, investigation and analysis of the problem, jointly with Operations-in-Charge, develop the corrective action and change the process that is causing the problem.
- Travel to suppliers place to make sure the supplier understands all critical items within the part that is being manufactured.
- Control and monitor calibration of all the measuring instruments & test equipment.
- Develop Quality Assurance Plan based on customer requirement.
- Control and monitor incoming material quality through 100% inspection at supplier place for outsourced products.
- Conduct inspection & testing at in-coming, in-process & final inspection stages as per quality plan/customer requirements
- Maintain all the inspection, test reports and calibration certificates.
- Manage Supplier rejection through supplier rejection report & analysis.
- Plan & work toward reducing cost of quality.
- Interact with Intercompany & External Vendors to mitigate quality issues.
- Assist in EHS activities for the site
Qualifications
Education/degree
- Diploma or B.E in Mechanical Engineering.
Work experience
- 5 years of experience for B.E or 8 years of experience for Diploma preferably in QA.
Proven capabilities in these key behavioral competencies

Other Skills, Experiences Or Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Should have knowledge and understanding of quality management system and experience in developing procedures and work instructions to meet the objective of QMS is a must.
- NDT certified desirable
- Six sigma Green Belt is an added advantage
- The incumbent must be a proficient user of various statistical, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software packages
