Role Overview

We are seeking an Quality Engineer to oversee and elevate our quality systems across molding, tooling, and machining operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products consistently meet stringent customer, industry, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, hands-on shop-floor experience, and leadership capability to drive continuous improvement across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and relevant industry standards.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and certification requirements.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics, analyze data trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Oversee quality processes for incoming materials, in-process inspections, and final product validation.
• Collaborate with molding, machining, and tooling teams to address quality issues from root cause to resolution.
• Manage supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits as needed.
• Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan activities for new and existing products.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Train and mentor the quality team to build capability and ensure consistent execution.
• Serve as the primary interface for customers on all quality-related concerns.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
• 0 - 2 years of quality management experience in plastic injection molding and/or precision machining industries.
• Deep understanding of mold making processes, tooling tolerances, machining accuracy, and molding quality controls.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA.
• Hands-on experience with CMM, vision inspection systems, gauges, and metrology.
• Proven ability to lead teams and implement effective quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
