Quality Engineer: The quality engineer's role includes: Maintaining high quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems at our organisation, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Quality Management at site - Implementation of Quality systems at site with optimised costs - Ensure availability of standard reference documents like Procedures, Guidelines, Training modules, Quality Assurance Plans for use at site - Study BOQ & specifications and identify risks and preparation of Risk Mitigation Plan thereof. - Ensure implementation of all standard formats for all activities at site - Maintain control on quality of activities with regular surveillance at all areas of project - Plan and co-ordinate Internal Audit for evaluating performance of the QMS. - Ensure that the corrective actions are taken based on Nonconformities - Respond and close the customer complaints and monitor effectiveness - Ensure Calibration of Measuring and Test Equipment at site - Facilitate meetings for analyses of various issues in quality to develop suitable action plans to mitigate the issues and derive suitable CAPA reports - Prepare Daily Concrete report with latest updates and communicate to team - Support Project Manager for identification and qualification of resources for materials and products 2. Inspection & Testing - Inspect site activities with site engineer/project engineer and get approval for next activity. - Ensure routine testing on raw materials at the frequency as per QAP and keep records for the same - Inspection of all incoming materials and maintain records with authorisation by pm, wherever required - Ensure proper documentation of all advices, minutes of meetings, or any other documents shared / received during the project planning or review meetings - Timely submission of all quality records for billing purpose. 3. Training and awareness programs at site - Create awareness about quality amongst staff and workmen - organise training accordingly - Before start of new activity at site, conduct training to concerned team and PM on standard practices in that activity and specifications for the same. 4. MIS / Reports - Prepare MIS reports on regular basis - Share status of Quality observations to team on weekly basis - Update Head -QA & QC and GM on customer feedbacks on quality regularly (at least once a month) 5. Developmental activities - Provide support HOD QA & QC for revisions to reference documents suitable to latest revisions of standards, new developments in system and need of organisation - Share new ideas for improvement to senior management Key Deliverables / Performance Measures 1.
