JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer LOCATION: PUNE ROLE DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Mid-Level) who is eager to grow into a Subject Matter Expert and help qualify the performance, scale, and resilience of a cloud-native, distributed product stack. You’ll join a passionate team focused on delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced, agile environment. You'll get hands-on with the latest cloud platforms, distributed systems, and testing frameworks while shaping how our products meet enterprise-level quality standards. WHO WILL LOVE THIS JOB? • Attracted to creativity, innovation, and eagerness to learn. • Alignment to a fast-paced organization and its short-term and long-term goals. • An engaging, open, genuine personality that naturally encourages interaction with individuals at all levels. • Strong value system and sense of ethics. • Absolute dedication to premium quality. • Want to build strong core product team capable of developing solutions for complex, industry-first problems • Build balance of experience, knowledge and new learnings ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA to understand product requirements and customer use cases. • Design, develop, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test suites. • Contribute to test automation strategy using modern frameworks like Selenium, Robot, or Cucumber. • Simulate real-world customer scenarios across VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure reliability and consistency. •Perform manual and automated testing across different layers (UI, API, Backend). • Create detailed and clear test cases, report bugs, and track their resolution. • Assist in setting up CI/CD pipelines and test environments using scripting and automation tools • Participate in product demos, pilot programs, and technical knowledge sharing. TECHNICAL SKILLS • 3–6 years of experience in software testing with exposure to cloud or virtualization technologies. • A strong understanding and demonstrable experience with at least one of the major public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure or VMware) • Hands-on experience with test automation using Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber, or similar tools. • Programming knowledge in either of Python, Shell scripts or Powershell. • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks E.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Robot frameworks • Good understanding of QA practices across functional, integration, performance, and scale testing. • Exposure to distributed systems, networking, or storage concepts is a big plus.
