Job Summary: The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required quality standards and specifications set by the company. This includes conducting inspections, tests, and audits to identify any deviations or non-conformities and implementing corrective actions to maintain product quality. The Quality Control Officer will also be responsible for monitoring and improving quality control procedures and providing training to employees to ensure adherence to quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. 2. Conduct inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications. 3. Perform regular audits of production processes to identify and resolve any quality issues or deviations. 4. Collaborate with the production team to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. 5. Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends or patterns and take proactive measures to address any potential issues. 6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions taken. 7. Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance product quality and efficiency. 8. Conduct training sessions for employees on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices. 9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry quality standards. 10. Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve any quality-related issues or concerns. 11. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality control. 12. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality control processes and enhance overall operational efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. 3. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, techniques, and tools. 4. Familiarity with relevant quality management systems and standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.). 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision. 7. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 9. Proficient in using quality control software and tools. 10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. 11. Certifications in quality control or quality management are an advantage.
