Position Summary

You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality releases across mobile, backend, and internal systems. The role requires strong fundamentals in manual testing, good exposure to automation, and the ability to work closely with our product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Validation

• Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans

• Perform manual testing for mobile apps, backend APIs, and web modules

• Build and manage regression test suites

• Validate end-to-end business flows, data accuracy, and UI/UX behavior

Automation & Tools

• Create and maintain UI automation scripts (Selenium/Appium or similar)

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman

• Contribute to improving CI/CD testing workflows

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand requirements

• Identify, document, and track defects through structured bug reporting

• Conduct root cause analysis and support debugging efforts

• Provide clear test reports before every release

Quality Ownership

• Ensure mobile and backend releases are stable, reliable, and bug-free

• Validate performance, edge cases, and system behavior under various scenarios

• Maintain testing documentation and contribute to process improvements

Required Skills

• Strong experience in manual testing (mobile + backend)

• Hands-on API testing expertise

• Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium/Appium)

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing best practices

• Working knowledge of SQL and basic scripting

• Experience with version control (Git)

• Exposure to testing distributed systems or microservice environments 

Good To Have

• Experience testing financial or transactional systems

• Familiarity with mobile testing for cross-platform frameworks

• Understanding of cloud environments and DevOps workflows

Knowledge of backend systems built with modern stacks (Node.js, Python, etc.)
