The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and automation frameworks, and must be passionate about delivering high-quality, bug-free software products. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that every release meets the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on all builds.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using standard tools like JIRA / Trello / ClickUp.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand features, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Validate API responses and perform backend testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release reviews.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for frontend components.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and QA efficiency.
• Maintain automation scripts (if applicable) using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and defect life cycles.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman / Swagger).
• Familiarity with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing mobile apps (iOS & Android).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Basic understanding of version control (Git).
• Knowledge of performance testing using tools like JMeter.
• Experience working with Agile / Scrum teams.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
