Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of the data collected through our proprietary no-code web scraping platform, Prowebscraper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining scrapers, as well as performing thorough quality assurance checks on the scraped data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scraper Setup:

  Configure and maintain web scrapers using Prowebscraper's no-code software.

• Data Quality Assurance:

  Perform rigorous checks on data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specified formats.

• Validation:

  Use regex, HTML, and CSS knowledge to validate and troubleshoot scraping outputs.

• Maintenance:

  Monitor and update scrapers regularly to adapt to website changes.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with development and data teams to ensure the highest data quality.

• Documentation:

  Maintain detailed documentation of QA processes and findings.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of web scraping technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and regular expressions (regex) for scraper setup and troubleshooting.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in large datasets.
• Experience in data validation and QA processes.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with team members across different departments.
