Job Description

Senior QA Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Lead the QA team, setting up quick and efficient QA processes to ensure consistent product quality.
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to maximize test coverage.
Perform manual testing when required, ensuring functional, regression, and exploratory test coverage.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and cross-border teams (Israel, India, Nepal) to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues.
Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to closure with clear documentation.
Maintain, optimize, and scale automation frameworks for long-term reusability and efficiency.
Drive adherence to QA best practices, processes, and quality standards across projects.
Mentor, guide, and review work of junior QA engineers to uplift overall team capability.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (manual + automation).
1+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent).
Proven experience leading QA efforts, establishing efficient QA processes, and improving quality metrics.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, regression cycles, and defect life cycle.
Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
Hands-on experience in testing e-commerce platforms, including storefront, checkout, payments, and integrations.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent).
Basic scripting/programming skills in JavaScript or similar.
Experience with cloud-based testing solutions (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
