Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Fabrication & Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to oversee and maintain quality standards in our fabrication and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that products meet required specifications and quality standards through inspection, testing, documentation, and process control.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), and other quality documentation.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, material specifications, welding procedures, and dimensional tolerances.
• Ensure traceability of materials and maintain relevant QA/QC records.
• Monitor welding quality, perform visual inspections, and coordinate NDT activities (like UT, RT, PT, MT).
• Collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
• Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and improvement plans to management.
• Support supplier quality audits, internal audits, and assist in external certifications.
• Promote continuous improvement culture and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience in QA/QC in fabrication, heavy engineering, or metal manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of welding standards (ASME, AWS, ISO) and fabrication processes (cutting, forming, machining, assembly).
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments, CMM, and inspection tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ASME Section VIII/IX, and related quality systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Certification in NDT Level II or Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) is an added advantage.
• Preparing Technical User Manual of Machines.
• Preparing Standard /Service Manuals of machine.
• Preparing Operating Instructors for operator console of the machines.
• Preparing IOM manuals of the machines.
• Write up/of Machine related activities/topic for machine operation and maintenance team.
• Preparation of instruction manual for special purpose if required.
• Preparing Qualification Documents of machine (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ & FAT)
• Looking After all technical related Documentation of Projects as per requirement in specific Job
• (Following up to provide other quality related reports if required.)
• Following up customer related queries related qualification documents and projects.
• Providing Quality related reports if required

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
