Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

QA Automation Engineer || Digiaccel Learning || Work from Office || Gurugram

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 1-2+ years of experience to join and strengthen our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable automation test suites for applications developed using NestJS, Next.js, Node.js, React, and React Native, while ensuring seamless integration with our AWS infrastructure and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications.
• Develop and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services using tools such as Postman/Newman and scripting frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to define effective test strategies and ensure comprehensive automation coverage across web, backend, and mobile applications.
• Analyze test failures, review logs, identify root causes, and provide detailed and actionable defect reports.
• Continuously enhance and scale automation frameworks to improve test reliability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation scripts.
• Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Detox (for React Native).
• Solid experience in API testing and automation using Postman, Newman, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium or Detox.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
• Basic knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
