Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing to ensure application compliance with quality standards. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scripts. You will perform automation testing using tools like Cypress to streamline quality processes. Additionally, you will execute API testing using Postman to verify integrations and endpoints. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs or issues using tools like Jira will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Collaborating with developers to resolve defects and ensure the application meets user expectations will be crucial. Furthermore, you will conduct regression testing to validate resolved bugs and prevent reoccurrence. Participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and continuously improving QA methodologies and tools to optimize testing processes will also be part of your role.
