Responsibilities
- Conduct independent Functional testing for changes to the application, understanding non-life/P&C insurance business process and the Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.
- Design test cases including expected outputs from the Business Requirements and Functionals to ensure maximum coverage, to emulate user interaction in the production environment.
- Execute the end-to-end test scenarios and validate results.
- Update & maintain documentation of the executed test cases, using IDIT methodology.
- Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and fixed and help in UAT support to users
Requirements
- 3 - 4.5 Years working experience with exposure to IT Systems with complex business processes, and planning for functional testing, impact analysis of changes, and regression testing.
- Good conceptual, analytical, mathematical skills.
- Exposure to major applications in any area – Insurance (Non Life Insurance), Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing.
- Should have experience in understanding business requirements, functional specifications.
- Should have exposure to technology – HTML, SQL.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good learner and self-starter, and a team player, ready for the next challenge - wherever it may be.
- B.E (or equivalent).
- Any Insurance/ Industry Standard Testing Certification – will be preferred.
- Experience in insurance, esp non-life insurance and exposure to a policy admin system- – will be preferred.
