Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Quality Analyst – Automation
with
3–5 years of experience
in developing and executing automated test suites. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in
Selenium
,
Java
, and
API automation
, along with a solid understanding of modern QA methodologies and frameworks. This role involves close collaboration with developers and product teams to ensure seamless automation coverage, efficient regression testing, and high-quality product releases.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (or equivalent automation frameworks).
- Create, execute, and manage test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web and API applications.
- Perform API automation testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality, continuous integration, and smooth product rollouts.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability, performance, and scalability.
- Analyze test results, document issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Continuously evaluate new automation tools, frameworks, and processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Maintain and enhance test data and regression suites for ongoing projects.
Core Technical Skills (Must Have)
- Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent automation frameworks.
- Programming: Proficiency in Java and understanding of OOP concepts.
- API Automation: Experience using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools for API testing.
- SQL: Strong skills in writing queries for data validation and backend testing.
- CI/CD: Exposure to Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools for continuous integration.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Test Management Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, or similar tools for test case tracking and defect management.
Good To Have Skills
- Experience with additional automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Katalon.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Exposure to API mocking and data-driven testing frameworks.
