Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans
Identify, report, and track bugs and inconsistencies using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing for web and mobile applications
Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues and ensure quality standards
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and best practices

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
6 - 9 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies
Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
Working knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Mantis)
Familiarity with basic SQL queries and databases
Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Postman (preferred)

Interpersonal & Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Calm, respectful, and composed communication style
Professional demeanor when interacting with internal teams or external stakeholders
Strong listening skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback
Collaborative team player who can work effectively in cross-functional environments

Nice to Have:

ISTQB or similar QA certification
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
