Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QS Manager with a strong background in real estate and construction to lead our quantity surveying functions. The ideal candidate will oversee cost planning, contract administration, tendering, and commercial management across multiple projects. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, leadership abilities, and in-depth knowledge of cost control and construction methodologies.

Key Responsibilities Cost Management & Estimation

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, rate analyses, and cost plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Monitor project budgets and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses for new and ongoing projects.

Tendering & Procurement

• Manage end-to-end tendering processes, including preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and recommendation of contractors.
• Oversee vendor negotiations, procurement schedules, and contract finalization to ensure value-for-money outcomes.

Contract Administration

• Draft, review, and manage contracts in accordance with industry standards (local regulations, etc.).
• Handle claims, variations, EOT requests, and dispute resolution in coordination with project managers and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain proper documentation.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress, certify interim payments, and verify contractor invoices.
• Provide monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates to senior management.
• Conduct site inspections to validate work completion and assess cost impacts.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors and cost engineers.
• Collaborate with design teams, project managers, contractors, and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support project goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in QS roles within real estate and construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market rates.
• Expertise in cost management software.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and contract standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹960,000.00 - ₹1,080,000.00 per year
