Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

To manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. The Quantity Surveyor ensures that the project is completed within budget and to the required standards, while maintaining profitability and value for money.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

• Tendering & Procurement:

Manage tender processes, prepare tender documentation, analyze bids, and assist in contractor/subcontractor selection.

• Contract Administration:

Prepare and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial requirements.

• Measurement & Valuation:

Perform quantity take-offs, interim valuations, and final account preparation for projects.

• Cost Control & Reporting:

Monitor project expenditure, identify cost variations, and prepare regular cost reports for management and clients.

• Change Management:

Assess and value variations, claims, and change orders in accordance with contractual terms.

• Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop cost control strategies to mitigate financial exposure.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with design, engineering, and site teams to ensure cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

• Final Accounts:

Prepare and agree final accounts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹520,000.00 per year
