QA/QC Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement quality plans: Create and update project-specific quality plans, SOPs, and inspection checklists.
• Material inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet specifications, checking for defects like pinholes, potholes, and cracks.
• Fabrication and finishing oversight: Monitor the fabrication process, verify welding quality, and inspect the finishing of PEB members.
• Conduct inspections and tests: Perform and witness inspections and non-destructive tests (NDT) to identify and address issues.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain all quality control documents, including test reports, certificates, non-conformance reports, and manufacturing record books. Prepare and submit reports to clients and management.
• Non-conformance resolution: Identify, document, and help resolve quality issues by collaborating with production and engineering teams. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Audits and compliance: Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and the company's quality management system (QMS).
• Team coordination: Coordinate with site engineers, production staff, and other stakeholders to ensure quality procedures are understood and followed.
• Continuous improvement: Analyze data, support process improvement initiatives, and ensure efficiency in production quality processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in PEB or fabrication quality assurance/quality control.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in material inspection, welding, and NDT methods.
• Experience with quality management systems like ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with quality documentation and reporting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
