PEB DESIGNER & DETAILER

A PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) Designer and Detailer is responsible for creating detailed 3D models and drawings for pre-engineered steel structures.Key duties include interpreting engineering plans, generating fabrication and erection drawings, preparing bills of materials, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The role requires proficiency in CAD software like Tekla and AutoCAD, strong knowledge of PEB standards, and effective collaboration with design and production teams.

Core responsibilities

• Drawing and modeling: Create detailed 3D models and produce fabrication, shop, and erection drawings using software like Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
• Design interpretation: Read and interpret architectural and structural design drawings to ensure accurate and detailed plans.
• Bill of Materials (BOM): Prepare accurate Bills of Materials for all components.
• Coordination: Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and other teams to clarify technical details and resolve issues.
• Quality assurance: Ensure all drawings and models adhere to project specifications, design standards, and quality guidelines.
• Revisions: Update drawings based on design modifications or site requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain proper drawing documentation and version control.

Required skills and qualifications

• Software proficiency: Expertise in 3D modeling and detailing software such as Tekla and AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge of other software like Staad or Etabs can be beneficial.
• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of pre-engineered building standards, steel fabrication methods, and material specifications. Knowledge of relevant codes
• Problem-solving: Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve clashes and design issues.
• Communication: Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various teams.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is often required.
• Experience: Prior experience in PEB detailing or a related field is advantageous.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
