The role ensures effective inventory control, compliance with project material handling procedures, and supports uninterrupted site operations through efficient material management. Receive all incoming materials, tools, and consumables as per delivery challans, purchase orders (PO), and invoices. Verify quantity and quality of materials received with respect to delivery documents and specifications. Report and document any discrepancies or damages and coordinate with procurement/suppliers. Properly tag, label, and organize materials as per category (mechanical, electrical, piping, consumables, etc.). Ensure materials are stored in a clean, safe, and secure manner to prevent damage, deterioration, or theft. Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management tools or manual registers. Site Engineer -(Mechanical field) Department : Engineering / Project execution Job Description: The Site/Project Engineer is responsible for executing and supervising mechanical, piping, structural, and tank fabrication and erection works at the site in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Prepare and update daily/weekly progress reports. Coordinate with planning, quality, and safety departments to ensure smooth execution. Review drawings and resolve site-related technical issues with consultants/clients. Manage subcontractors and allocate resources effectively. Ensure material traceability, inspection documentation, and red-marking of drawings. Assist in preparing as-built drawings, punch list clearing, and final handover to client. Support commissioning and performance testing activities. Strong understanding of piping standards (ASME, API), structural codes (IS, AISC), and welding procedures. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
