Define and execute comprehensive quality engineering strategies aligned with business and technology goals. Drive modern QA practices including test automation, CI/CD, BDD/TDD. Lead defect management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution efforts. Establish best practices focused on reliability, performance, reusability, and observability. Create and manage automation roadmaps, ensuring ROI and technical relevance. Collaborate with Core Tech stakeholders to align testing with business requirements. Lead hiring, mentoring, and retention initiatives to build a skilled, motivated, and innovative QA workforce. Foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability. Modernize QA processes by adopting scalable tools, frameworks, and methodologies. Maintain high operational standards within Agile and DevOps frameworks. Oversee testing performance, availability, capacity, and security compliance. Ensure cost-effective QA practices with high test coverage and automation adoption. Skills Required: 14+ years in software development/test automation. 5+ years in technical team management. Proven record in designing and scaling enterprise-grade testing solutions. Strong leadership, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven success in managing large QA teams in Agile environments. Hands-on expertise with: Automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Git Languages: Python, Java, or C# Frameworks: BDD/TDD Databases: SQL Server, Transact-SQL (including stored procedures) Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and test case design. Exposure to legacy systems including ADDI, IMS, DB2, and IBM Accelerator for Z. Vendor and stakeholder management experience in an onshore/offshore model. Deep understanding of QA processes in both UI and backend systems. Knowledge of healthcare IT standards, terminology, and claims lifecycle. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with mainframe testing and cloud-native platforms (e.g., AWS). Experience in claims adjudication and compliance in healthcare. Industry certifications: Scrum Master, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent. Demonstrated success in coaching teams in QA automation best practices.
