As a QA Lead , you will: Lead and mentor a skilled QA team (manual + automation). Develop and execute end-to-end QA strategies for EGS 2.0. Take a hands-on role in designing test cases and automation scripts using Playwright . Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced Agile environment to deliver quality at speed. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership : Lead, support, and grow a QA team working across automation and manual testing. Assign responsibilities, conduct peer reviews, and drive continuous improvement in quality practices. Test Strategy & Execution : Define test strategy, risk-based test plans, and detailed test scenarios for web and API applications. Design and maintain manual and automated test cases. Test Automation : Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript . Maintain scalable test automation frameworks and reusable test libraries. CI/CD Integration : Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins). Defect & Test Management : Use JIRA for defect tracking and Zephyr , Xray , or equivalent for test case management. Provide regular test metrics, dashboards, and quality status to stakeholders. Agile & Collaboration : Participate in Agile ceremonies—daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Ensure quality is embedded from planning through to release. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent. 6–8 years of QA experience , with at least 2+ years in a QA lead or managerial role . Strong experience in both manual and automation testing . Hands-on experience using Playwright for automation (TypeScript or JavaScript). Knowledge of automation design patterns and reusable test automation practices. Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients. Strong experience in Agile development environments. Familiarity with source control (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
