JOB DESCRIPTION Job title:- Logistics Executive Work location:- Elite Paloume Forwarders Chennai Experience:- 2-5 yrs Educational:- A graduate /post graduate (optional SCM/logistics) Roles & Responsibilities Preparing transport documents needed for the carriage of goods, including all required tax and customs declarations. Bills and invoices, import/export declarations, bill of lading and a whole of other shipping documentations required by the clients or by the laws in the exporting country/importing country/transit countries. Planning & Export vessel booking confirmation with shipping lines. Timely processing of shipping instructions to shipping lines. Communication on process. To keep stakeholders (internal colleagues) informed about the status of the documents.
Role & responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities 1. Accounts Receivable Management Monitor and manage the organizations accounts receivable processes, including customer invoicing, payment collections, and credit control. Ensure timely and accurate recording of customer payments, along with regular reconciliation of receivable accounts. 2. Accounts Payable Management Oversee the accounts payable function, including processing vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and outgoing payments. Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable payment terms to support effective cash flow management. Ensure all payables are processed on time and accurately recorded in the accounting system. 3. Finance Administration Prepare and manage finance-related purchase requisitions (PRs), ensuring timely approvals and maintenance of an up-to-date PR list. Coordinate with the HR department for various financial and administrative support tasks. Visit government departments as needed for collections, submissions, and resolving financial queries

Role & responsibilities As an Executive logistics, you are in charge of: Prepare and submit SI with all necessary details/country spec., such as shipper/consignee information, cargo desc. (HS code, weight, volume & etc.) Proof-read and correct SI details against the Bill of Lading draft. Ensure timely submission & confirmation to meet Internal KPI & carrier deadlines to avoid delays. Verify container details & weights. Update HS codes and cargo descriptions are accurately entered in EGS as per FFI. Follow-up with shipping line for draft BL. Maintaining records of daily SI submission orders & updating regularly .
Role & responsibilities Manage operations is the main point of contact by engaging actively in day-to-day operations to understand the issues and provide solutions to the team to take full control of the operation Set expectations on task completion with team members and ensure tasks are completed prior to set deadlines as well as job accuracy maintained. Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and adjust accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands, including coverage for absentees, if necessary, personally assist the team to perform/execute the orders to ensure coverage of service expectation due to unexpected volume surge or shortage of manpower; Plan vacation time to ensure minimal disruption to operations Maintain quality standards for export procedures, ensure SOP availability for all process and strictly adhere by the team and advice for improvement if required. Status tracking and monitoring: continuously monitor the export shipment and report irregularities Develop effective working relationships with Country Team, shipping line & Service providers. Responsible for accurate and timely freight handling of allocated operations activities for eg. Booking, BL, Documentation and Billing. Validate delivery of export documents such as Bill of Lading, Final documents to customer Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc. are timely and accurate first time Manage common mailbox (i.e.: revert email, distribute email to relevant team members, etc.) Monthly volume report preparation, KPI report preparation, Non Conformance report preparation & Continuous Improvement program Drive discipline, Ensure compliance to all management operation KPI, Work related documents and company policies Any other related functions to shipments co-ordination and ad-hoc duties which are assigned by superior Requirements 8yrs to 12yrs of Proven Experience Experience in Freight forwarding Sea Freight Operations Experience in Team Handling / People Management Experience in providing training and coaching the teams ensuring high levels of morale and motivation Fluently in using professional English (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication with international colleagues/ clients and carriers Strong IT skills in Ms Office- Excel, Word , Presentation. Etc., Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Ability to cope with pressure and work to deadlines as to work independently Flexible about tasks and working hours
